While what you grill with, the tools you use to grill and the different grilling techniques you use are all important one of the most overlooked of all the grilling tools is your outdoor kitchen. For some of us our outdoor kitchen or grilling space may just be on the driveway, back patio or just on the front lawn. With all the cooking shows and advances in outdoor grilling tools the backyard kitchen is quickly becoming very popular. In the not to distant past it was common for people to do all their cooking and backing outside over a fire or on a back porch stove because they lacked air conditioning to keep the house cool during the hot summer months.
The younger generation has really taken a liking to the old style of cooking and are building luxurious outdoor kitchens and cooking areas that include built in appliances, grills, stoves and ovens. There are more and more people each year that are converting that old deck into an alternate kitchen.
